Shame, shame, shame...

Where are my sensitive, tender, and emotional people at?

Raise your hand if you've heard these statements:

unnamed (2).jpg

“You’re too sensitive”
“You’re too much”
“You’re too friendly”
“You’re too hysterical”

*raises hand* So what did I do when I was called those things? I put my heart on lock down. I became the "strong one". I grew hard, I said yes to everything so I could prove to the world, "I've got this. Everything is fine..."

I suffered in shame, and I suffered alone. I was placed inside a box of being different, allowing the world to convince me that my gift was actually a curse. I kept my shame a secret.

Cue: my first panic attack. My body responded with a forceful reminder that my feelings needed the center stage, and I must nurture and care for my body at all costs.

We, the emotionalsensitive, and empathetic people are the ones changing the world! We have a gift: we can use our magic to change the energy of a room for the better. We’re keeping ourselves awake, engaged, and active. We are the people this world is hungry for!

We help build connectioncompassion, and empathy in a world that sometimes feels like it is void of those things. And with this power comes great responsibility to care for ourselves, create boundaries, and nurture those things we feel.

What if I told you your sensitivity and your tenderness are your super powers?

Would you believe me when I say the shame you feel for being a feeling person is not just you?

What if I told you because of your being empathetic and feeling, your body requires double the amount of self-love and self-care and less pleasing others?

I have some heart-centered healing opportunities this month to help soothe the pain you feel and the self-abandonment that happens from living in shame and focusing on everyone but you.

August 16th I am hosting a FREE Masterclass to empower you with self-healing tools to abolish the shame and stigma of being a tender soul in a harsh world. You'll leave the class with a fast track to immediate healing. Sign up for the class here

Let me extend a hand of grace as we move together towards a forgiving and compassionate future.
