Cultivating Self-Compassion
Nurturing Your Mind During Tough Times
A 6 Week Group Class

Times have been hard!
In the midst of life's challenges, we often become our own toughest critics. As the weight of difficulties presses upon us, we may find ourselves trapped in a cycle of self-judgment and self-criticism.
Instead of offering the same kindness and understanding we readily give to others, we berate ourselves for not being "strong enough" or for experiencing moments of vulnerability.
What if we offered that same kindness to ourselves?
Self-compassion isn't about avoiding difficulties; it's about facing them with a heart that cares, gentle understanding, and a resilience that helps us rise!
Cultivating Self-Compassion is a 6 week intensive group class, designed to fast track you to break free from the barriers that hinder self-compassion, empowering you to embrace kindness, acceptance, and understanding toward yourself.
👉🏼By the end of Cultivating Self-Compassion you will have a more forgiving relationship with yourself, with effective strategies to manage difficult emotions and navigate tough situations with grace.

Why Self-Compassion Matters
Here's why it's crucial:
Emotional Well-being
Self-compassion helps us navigate the ups and downs of life with greater emotional balance. When we're kind to ourselves in difficult times, we experience less emotional turmoil and are better able to cope with challenges.
Reduced Stress
Treating ourselves with the same understanding and kindness we extend to others reduces the stress and anxiety that self-criticism and harsh self-judgment can create.
Improved Relationships
When we're compassionate with ourselves, we're more likely to approach others with empathy and kindness, leading to more positive and harmonious relationships.
Healthy Self-Esteem
Unlike self-esteem that can be tied to achievements, self-compassion provides a stable sense of self-worth rooted in inherent human value, making us less susceptible to the rollercoaster of external validation.
Emotional Regulation
Practicing self-compassion helps regulate our emotions. We can acknowledge and validate our feelings without being overwhelmed by them, leading to better decision-making and healthier emotional responses.

“My biggest discovery from working with Tara is that I have more compassion for myself. I've reduced my self-judgement. I'm able to manage my emotions with greater care.”

What clients are saying
“Before working with Tara, I was afraid and guarded and feeling stuck. Working with Tara has shifted my life. Knowing how to better care for and support my own heart has allowed me to show-up to love in new ways. Rather than shutting down in fear, I’m choosing to take aligned and bold action towards my dreams. ”
“During our healing sessions, Tara asked questions that I had never given any thought to ask myself. I’ve continued to think about the things we talked about, especially looking inside myself, for things I was seeking on others. Thank you, Tara, for helping me break down barriers and unlock the things that were blocking me. Thank you for the time and caring you put into our sessions.”
