A Samhain Surprise…

As you may have seen, I took a trip to Boston and Salem recently.

I lived there what feels like many moons ago, but going back always feels like home. I love the energy there, especially in Salem (sans the massive crowds).

Most people think of Salem as spooky, but it’s actually one of the most quaint and pleasant seaside towns. It will always hold a piece of my heart. 🧡

But being there isn’t just about the charm. It’s also about remembering the history. What draws us to Salem is wrapped in tragedy. The people whose lives were forever changed were just humans trying to live, oppressed by religion and the patriarchy, forced to adhere to leaders regardless of innocence.

Sound familiar? 👀

I spent time walking through the memorials, reading the names, and letting it sink in: this history feels far away, but many are still living versions of it today.

Though the beauty about Salem, aside from the town itself, is it's taken tragedy and made it a place for something taboo to exist freely. Tragedy was reclaimed, and celebration has been found.

With this visit fresh in my mind, and as we approach the Samhain season, I’ve decided to bring back my Grace & Gratitude Samhain Circle.

Last year, it was such a powerful gathering that gave us space to honor ourselves and our lineage, while highlighting the strength that comes from community.

🌒 Save the Date: Sunday, October 26th | 4–6pm PT 🌒

This class is open to all: those who joined last year, those who didn’t, and anyone who feels called to step into this kind of reflection and honoring. 🍁
